My favorite fruits are the tropical ones. And just recently, I got to taste the Pink Pitaya (dragon fruit) for the first time during a stay in Bali. It tastes like Heaven!!! Now everytime I find it in Amsterdam, I buy the whole stock and freeze it. I like to enjoy it as a smoothie like this one!
Ingredients to Pink Pitaya Smoothie:
• 2 frozen pink dragon fruits
• 2 frozen bananas
• 1 cup coconut water
• 2 tbsp hemp seeds
How to prepare the Pink Pitaya Smoothie:
Blend all the ingredients until smooth. You can enjoy it in a glass or in a bowl that you can decorate with any toppings available. I topped mine with dragon fruit balls, physalis, pear hearts and flowers, açai powder, cacao nibs and muesli.
