1- How can we find balance between the different aspects of our life?
Finding balance is so important to healthy living. For me balance begins with the start of my day. After a good nights sleep (hopefully), a vinyasa yoga class, and a little time to tidy up & make my to do list, whatever that is as long as I accomplish some things, I can juggle whatever the day will bring, what I can’t control I will let go of.
Having a clear head allows me to create and focus.
2- Could you please tell us what is the message behind your creations?
Almost everything I do stems from one word…. LOVE.
My favorite is the love of sentimentality in photographs on my Photo Dog Tag Collection, I love photographs, it’s so much fun to see babies, kids, dogs & horses then to create a customized piece with charms for my clients. It’s a keepsake gift they treasure, wearing close to their hearts!
I love to “renew & redo” with client’s precious old stones to design a new, current, and beautiful piece of jewelry they will wear and enjoy rather than one sitting in an old jewelry box.
Another favorite is the love that exists when designing an engagement ring for a very excited couple.
I have always had a passion for style and making women feel & look beautiful. Wear this not that, this with that~ it’s very helpful for people who don’t have that eye or confidence. Empowering them to feel that confidence and beauty is very rewarding.
3- What will be your few words to people who want to start a new project in their life?
3 P’s….. Passion, Persistence & Perfection
4- Do you believe in retirement?
A busy person will always be busy! Retirement to me means you may no longer be doing the same thing you did for many years, however now you have time to do all the things you couldn’t do enough of when you were in the professional world. So travel, make your “bucket list”, learn to play Bridge, donate your time to a charity, take dance lessons, listen to more music, go for a walk on the beach, listen to the ocean, join the local groups and be active, stay active & fit.
My parents will be married 60 years this year, they are “retired”, there are many lessons I learned from watching a couple adore one another, one is that is you can grow old with someone and remain young at heart and in love, and guess what, they are busy!
