Can you tell us a little bit more about who you are, and how you got the success you’ve reached?
I am a Personal Trainer, based in Adelaide, South Australia. I have two workout programs, BBG and BBG Stronger that are based within the Sweat app. I am also the co-creator of the Bikini Body e-Guide, and author of two books, the ‘The Bikini Body 28-Day Healthy Eating & Lifestyle Guide’ and the ‘The Bikini Body Motivation & Habits Guide’
It has taken a lot of hard work to get to this point, and I couldn’t have done it without the support from my fiance and Sweat CEO, Tobi Pearce, as well as from my family and friends. It’s also taken an endless amount of research and product development based on the feedback from our users. Listening to our users and meeting their needs is at the core of everything we do.
What was the drive behind your fitness empire, what motivates and inspires you?
Ever since I was little, I have always had a passion for health and fitness. I grew up playing basketball and netball, and loved how being active made me feel. I wanted other people to feel that too, and that is why I decided to become a Personal Trainer. I love that everyday I get to help women from all around the world, feel like the best version of themselves. That has always been my number one motivation.
What would you say to the young girls out there who have ambition like you, but may be scared to realize their dreams?
Don’t be too scared to start. It may seem daunting but don’t be overwhelmed, everyone who has ever followed their dreams has had to start somewhere. It’s also important to not be distracted by what other people do and say, just focus on what feels right for you.
How would you define empowerment, what does it mean to you and how do you achieve it?
To me, empowerment is the process of becoming the best version of yourself. I hope to bring this to women all around the world, through health and fitness.
