Francois Mascarello is a French designer who graduated from the Ecole Nationale Des Arts Appliques in Lyon and created his agency in 2007. His focus is on painting, furniture and lighting, and metal is one of his favorite materials. He combines vintage design and modern décor for a uniquely personal style. He emphasizes ancient techniques to achieve his products.
He began designing furniture from his love of painting and drawing. He learned about working with metals, his primary material for furniture, while working at an antique store. For his painting, he gains a lot of inspiration from people on the streets. He often takes pictures of them on the streets with his iPhone, and then he paints them in his style.
Mascarello’s projects includes men in suits with Alexis Mabille, an exposition at Galerie des Cherche Midi and an exposition at L’atlier d’artiste. His furniture and art is only available on demand.
