There is nothing in this world that is without its own vibration. Even inert matter, while very localized, vibrates and is interconnected with the rest of the creations. The whole universe is a breathing and vibrating creation of the infinitely creative Mother Divine.
We keep collecting things in our home and we keep storing our unused memories in our unconscious minds. Let us not forget that anything we don’t use over time starts to emit negative energy. The best example is our kitchen bin. If we don’t empty it day after day, we won’t be able to function in our kitchen. So also each home is filled with so much unused stuff lying for ages, and it is definitely a source of negative energy for the home and its residents. There are also many old memories in our mind that may be painful and they mean nothing now, yet they are stacked in the bins of mind and they surface from time to time only to cause pain and suffering.
As seekers of peace and happiness we need to wake up to being careful about what we have in our home, how much we need, and how much of it is lying there unused, occupying space and turning into negative energy. We have no idea how much things influence our peace and a happy state of our mind. After all, every cell of our body is continually being affected or afflicted not so much by our genetic conditions, (DNA) which we inherited from our parents and ancestors, but by the inner and outer environment. The outer environment is our home where we spend so much of our time and dream to be in peace. Our inner environment is our mind state, the thoughts and feelings (emotions) of our mind, which directly influences the cell growth, or cellular wellness. We are healthy when our cells (100 trillions of them) are in a great mood, in sweet harmony.
When our inner environment is in its natural state, it is pristine, open, luminous, at one and in a constant state of celebration with the Infinite creative energies of the Universe. If we are unable to celebrate, if we are filled with worries, if we are constantly in the grip of stress, it is because our mind space is occupied. There is no space for celebration in a cluttered mind.
So much of the mind’s time and space is consumed by the running commentary of judgments that mostly have no value. Our judgments only clutter the mind’s atmosphere and inevitably attract more negative vibrations and energy.
Spiritual progress is hindered when our unconscious mind is cluttered with negative emotions like anger. It is essential to release the anger and create space. The best way is to relax our body, focus on our breath. Breath is mystical. Breath is life. Breath is not only the bridge between body and mind, but also between the individual and the universal. It is our one-stop solution for every misery and unhappiness in life. Every inhalation is new, fresh life energy that Universe fills us with, and every exhalation is the release of all the negative emotions and clutters of body-mind.
After relaxing and watching our breath, when the mind calms down, visualize the wound and the person and say, “I release you from all my anger and pain that you caused me into the Light of forgiveness and peace.” We need to repeat this every night before going to sleep, until our feeling of anger is released and we are free. It truly works.
It is most difficult to forgive anyone who hurts us deeply. But as the hurtful memories clutter the mind, it only intensifies the negative energy polluting the inner environment, sapping the possibilities of our infinite growth into the world of consciousness for which we are here in this physical world. No, mere efforts to forget is not enough, the bin of the mind needs to be emptied, and released; we need to let it all go! Mind’s power needs focus. Clarity. Transparency. Mindfulness helps us clear the clutter and fog of the mind, allowing the mind’s infinite power to manifest to bring into reality that which is our dream.
At the end of the day we want to be happy. We want to be in peace. We want to be creative and happily contributing toward our own community. All of it is possible provided we know this law of inner and outer clutter. Provided we ourselves are in peace within and without.
