During stressful and busy working weeks, I usually like to relax by taking some Days Off. And the best way to do so, is either relax at home the whole weekend, doing some sport, reading books, watching movies and preparing some yummy recipes, or pack my bag and go for a short week end out. It always allows me to take some fresh air, reward myself for achieving tasks through the hard moments and come back with many positive vibes. Madrid remains one of my favorite destinations to relax and chill, and it is one of my sources of inspiration. If you ask me what can you do in 48H in Madrid, Here’s my answer:
Museo Nacional Del Prado ( The Padro Museum )
Being one of the most worldwide visited museums, this place located in the heart of Madrid gathers the most beautiful collections of European art. These collections consist of paintings, sculptures, prints, drawings and historic documents.
The museum’s most famous work is the painting Las Meninas drawn by Digeo Velazquez in 1650.
This unique restaurant brings to your table a mixture of Spanish and Chinese food. The chef instead of using a menu offers three options of plates for a more dynamic and diverting experience for his cooking.
This ten kilometers park is ideal to enjoy a green view and also the river along. Here, you’ll be able to explore old bridges passing rose gardens. This park is perfect for walking and bike riding as well.
This terrace is built on the top floor of an old casino, Its outdoor part is one of the highly recommended places to eat at in Madrid, and the interior was lately upgraded a retro-modern overhaul.
