A white moment is always chic, but can be tricky to pull off during the coldest days of the year. Any see-through situation or accidentally spilling anything on your white outfit can spoil the entire look.. and day!
Though you will most certainly not opt for a white lace dress or a white eyelet blouse in winter, there are still many offerings of fabrics and styles you can safely wear and look chic in white.
Create a contrast
This is the absolute ultimate and number 1 rule for me. White, black and grey go perfectly together. Why? Because Black+White = Grey, duh! You can also choose to contrast your darkest neutrals like navy blue or charcoal, white an almost-white (or cream) coat.
Beige & White
The epitome of classiness. Classier than classy. Think beige coat, beige pencil skirt and a white silk blouse. Think beige knits and white jeans for a cozy, chic and elegant look.
The head-to-toe white
You read it right (and white), you can perfectly master the total-white look but… with different shades of white. Remember, all ice-white is for sommer and for brides. So in order to do it right, play with shades and textures.
Make a statement
Yes, please do. A statement white turtleneck, a white skinny pair of jeans, a white belt on a total-beige look, or a white wool scarf over a biker jacket can look very fashionable.
