Spiritual progress is hindered when your subconscious is cluttered with negative emotions such as anger. It is essential to release those emotions and create space. Just as if you have too much furniture and stuff in your rooms, the energy cannot move. So also if our mind is occupied with too much clutter of old issues and memories, then we will not be able to allow the higher energy to work through us to fulfill our wishes today. First release the old; release the unwanted and then alone space is created where the new can work easily.
We mustn’t curse our self or others for negative emotions. They live in the womb of our subconscious mind only to surface when provoked by external situations. If we curse them, they don’t leave us or set us free. If we practice being aware and conscious then we can identify them, and before they create a mess, we can release them to light. Awareness is the key!
Most of us hurt ourselves and put the blame on others. A little heart searching and increased awareness will show how we belittle our own selves, feel guilty, and at times suffer with “not as good as someone else” syndromes. A simple logic; if we don’t respect ourselves, love ourselves, forgive and release our past, how long are we to carry the poison within? If we do so, we create the wrong vibratory field and attract the negative from the world and then curse, “Oh! God, Why me? ”
If we really want to have a free, genuine organic toni for our pain, it is our deepest love for forgiveness. As long as we hold the grudge in the secret chamber of our heart, the nerves get weakened. When we realize the power of forgiveness, we do it as the highest form of self-love; the release of the poison of blame and guilt lifts us up into a world where we can hear the footsteps of God and music of the spheres while enjoying perfect health.
Why do you think one of the most difficult things to do is to forgive and forget the past wounds? In spite of understanding the undercurrent of pain it creates, people still cling to their wounds, only because the repetitive thoughts of the same wound have gone deep into the psyche. We may try to pull them out, but the roots are deep! Spiritual progress is hindered under such conditions.
It is important to release any hurt feelings or resentment for they are poisonous for body-mind. They create blood pressure and heart issues and many other problems. Self-forgiveness and forgiving the one who caused pain releases the negative energy and creates space for good things to happen. One can get rid of so many problems of life if one’s subconscious is free of any suppressed anger and resentment. This is part of true self-love.
Yes, it is most difficult to forgive anyone who hurts us deeply. But as the hurtful memories clutter the mind, it only intensifies the negative energy polluting the inner environment, sapping the possibilities of our infinite growth into the world of awareness for which we are here in this physical world. No, mere efforts to forget are not enough, the trash bin of our subconscious mind needs to be emptied, released; we need to let it all go!
Here are some simple practices to Release, Forgive, and Create Space for Life.
- Identify the areas from where your fear and anger are being generated. A little heart searching will lead you to identify the areas. Once it is done, the next course of action should be to resolve deeply to transform these emotions. To do this you need to be more aware and conscious about your routine behavioral patterns of your life. You have to particularly work when all is well and you are not fearful or angry. Give suggestions to your subconscious mind that you no longer need these negative emotions and that you’re prepared to release them into light.
- Relax your body, focus on your breath, and when the mind calms down visualize the wound and the person you feel caused it and say “I release you from all my anger and pain that you caused me into the Light of forgiveness and peace.” Repeat this every night before you go to sleep, till you feel it is released and you are free. It truly works.
- Releasing the wrong beliefs and constricting conditions is most important to create space for the NEW to happen. A strong conviction and consistent effort will help you substitute those pain-giving created thoughts with affirmations such as:
“I am happy I have completed that part of my karma, now I am ready to release it to the eternal light. I am safe, I am secured.”
“I willingly release my old energy and emotions. I am glad I completed that karma and now I am free. All is well in my life at this present moment. And in joy of my spirit I move forward to the future that is all blissful, happy, and healthy!”
