Why you should go: There is no denying that Las Vegas loves its flashy lights. For the Fourth, the Vegas fireworks do not disappoint. Various hotels along the Strip will be hosting its own parties, full of live music, drinks, and BBQ. You can choose to jump around hotel to hotel, or you can visit one of many luxurious lounges to see the fireworks from higher up.
Where to stay: For the classic Vegas experience and a central location, stay at the Mandalay Bay hotel. The hotel will be hosting a party on Saturday and Sunday with live music and fireworks. The Mandalay Bay is also home to one of the best lounges, the Foundation Room, where you can get away from the crowds and still enjoy the show.
What to do: Make sure to pay a visit to Caesar’s Palace on from Friday to Sunday for an expansive block party with signature cocktails and life-sized games. On the Fourth, head to one of Vegas’s many pool clubs to cool off from the Vegas heat. The Radius Rooftop Pool at the Stratosphere will give you a close-up view of the hotel’s fireworks.
New Orleans
Why you should go: The city might be small, but the celebration is big. New Orleans has something for everyone during Fourth of July weekend- perfect for a family or for a group looking to diversify. Essence Music Festival is always this weekend to see some very popular national and local musicians.
Where to stay: The Omni Royal Orleans hotel is in the heart of the historic district. It is beautifully decorated and is a favorite among tourists and locals alike.
What to do: New Orleans is the best city for festivals, and there are plenty for the Fourth. Happy 3rd of July in City Park is a popular attraction to see the Marine Corps Band and fireworks. It is a great option for a picnic. For those interested in giving back, there is Four on the 4th, a 4-mile run (with or without a bikini) to benefit local organizations.
Miami

Fireworks in Miami are especially spectacular because of the reflection of the colors on the water.

New York
