Born in Pennsylvania, Jeff Koons is an American Plastic Designer, Sculptor, Photographer and painter. He started his career as a Wall Street trader, before following his path as an Artist.
Koons gets his inspiration to create his masterpieces from pretty much everything that surrounds him. He is using different materials such as wood, plexiglass, glass, and marble to create his art works.
His philosophy is based on enabling people to create a relationship and connect with his art. He has built a strong reputation in the Contemporary art World, and turned Art in general into a playful universe.

His work is a continuity to Andy Warhol’s Pop Art ; transforming banal objects into sumptuous icons.
« Rabbit », 1986 is on of his most famous Creations, made of stainless steel it is available at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Chicago.
« Balloon Dog » 1994-2000, is also one of his most emblematic Creations. Presented in Blue, Orange, Yellow, and Magenta. It is in the Celebration Collection, and it was sold for 58.4 Millions of Dollars, which has made it the most expensive Creation sold for a living artist.
