All my friends know how obsessed I am about colorful items made of glass. I love using different Murano glasses into the decoration of my house. The first person that pops in my mind when I first think of Murano glasses is obviously Paolo Venini
He is the one who left a mark on the 20th century evolution of Venetian glass. I fell in love with his work when I first discovered his vases
I loved the special shapes he uses and the unusual combination of colors, his work is unique it combines both traditional technique and modern form.
Even Though Venini was educated to become a lawyer, and after practicing law for a short period of time. He bought a partnership in a Murano glass firm, and from the beginning his works were very distinguishable.
Paolo Venini died in 1959, but he left behind a great legacy today, as 90 years ago, VENINI is a constantly developing laboratory, a place where passion for glass and fascination of the Furnace are able to enchant and thrill everyone.
