This Ginger and turmeric tea is extremely beneficial, and is helping out during summer time, it has many healing powers, including anti-inflammatory, anti-infection, antioxidant, and lymph system cleansing capabilities.
6-Inch piece of fresh ginger
1 Teaspoon turmeric
2 Cinnamon sticks
1/2 Teaspoon cayenne
1 Spoonful of raw honey (or to taste)
Squeeze of lemon
1- Peel and thinly slice ginger.
2- Smash the ginger using the flat side of your knife.
3- Add ginger to 6 cups of water in a saucepan. Boil, then let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes.
4- Add cinnamon sticks, turmeric, and cayenne to the ginger mixture. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
5- Strain the mixture into mug.
6- Stir in lemon and honey to taste.
