I have to say, this was quite a challenge for me at the beginning, when I was trying to lose weight and not gain it back. Most of the time, it was because I was not dieting the right way. I was not answering my body’s nutritious needs.
And then I started reading more about nutrition and about how decadent desserts can be nutritious too. I was so lucky to meet Randa, an amazing friend of mine from Lebanon who makes the most edible cakes and sweets out of rich nutritious high quality ingredients. Looking at her daily feed of baked goods made out of organic ingredients brings tears to my heart. But at the same time, Randa played a major role in keeping me motivated and focused. I will always remember the first time I tried to make her homemade vegan Kinder Delice cake and was an epic failure, but the second attempt was a success.
Today I am sharing with you a model-worthy, nutrient rich chocolate mousse recipe. Those of you who want to indulge but still stay in shape, will absolutely like it. It tastes like real Chocolate Mousse.
The ingredients are simple and most certainly already in your pantry.
All you need is a banana, an avocado and some raw cacao powder.
Blend everything with coconut meat until the mixture becomes a real mousse.
Put it in the fridge for a few hours until it completely firms up.
You can add semi-sweet chocolate chips to it or some nuts. I personally love it with berries and coconut flakes.
