Having a sane and sound body, along with mindful relationships and an adequate environment, is a major component of the human’s well-being.
One of Olivia Palermo’s quotes once caught my attention when she presumably said that life is all about travelling and eating decadent desserts. I personally find this philosophy very interesting and joyful and would encourage myself to live by it. On the other hand, my health-conscious self is driven by Gisele Bumdchen’s heathy habits and values. From my perspective, it is interesting to satisfy one’s nutritional needs when at home in order to apply Olivia Palermo’s attractive philosophy when travelling or simply when the need of indulgence is present.
When trying to adapt a healthy and edible eating style, the list of superfoods is very rich. With the evolution of technology and information, today we are more conscious and ever. Gogi berries, noni juice, chia seeds, coconut oil, nuts and so many other nutrient rich foods are available nowadays everywhere. Yet the difference between superfoods remains on the quality of the products and their price ranges. On the top of the list of superfoods that are available worldwide, budget friendly and extremely healthy is chocolate.
Chocolate is beautifying, healthy and guilt-free when associated with a balanced diet.
On a regular basis, I am not overly obsessed with nutritional values. I even sometimes wonder if carrot cake should count towards my daily fruits and vegetable intake. But sometimes, it is not bad to have a little reminder that would stop me from splurging a lot.
In Madrid, I came across the most humourous chocolate tablet I have ever seen. It’s called “The Most Honest Chocolate Tablet”. Premiere chocolate maisons do not mention nutritional info, while the chocolate tablets available in retail do inform about calorie info in average, mostly mentioning the calorie count per 100g of chocolate, and as a human being, you do not have the will to do the math when your main concern is to indulge.
So when you find a “honest” chocolate tablet that implies: “go ahead, but watch out”, it really deserve the title of Guardian angel of tablets.
Ps: I ate the entire tablet.. sorry not sorry..
