Whether you’re a housewife, a working woman or a student, one thing is for certain: you do have your own closet and your Closet Essentials.
Today I am revealing which items I think every woman should own. So here are my seven closet essentials and the reasoning behind each one of them.
A black blazer
A black blazer looks perfect on all body types. It is classic, chic and feminine. It goes well with jeans, dresses, skirts and smart trousers. When picking the adequate black blazer for you, make sure it accentuates your waist and gives you an elegant silhouette.
My personal favorites. They give longer legs and a very chic look. Pair yours with a little black dress or with cropped trousers. Remember, there are different tones of nude so make sure you choose the right one for your skin.
A black date night dress
Let me get this straight, a lady does not, and will never ever have enough black dresses. We love black dresses. Also, we adore them. And we literally live for them.
When choosing a black dress, make sure it flatters your body and features your best assets… and curves.
A cashmere sweater
Cashmere knits are cozy, dewy and very classy. You can pair them with jeans, trousers or with pencil skirts.
Opt for timeless colors. Black, nude and greys will never go wrong and are worth the investment.
A red lipstick
It’s timeless, it’s chic and it’s extremely, extremely attractive. And let me tell you a secret: my go-to makeup is a flawless skin (most of the time with no foundation, but that is quite another subject), black blacker blackest mascara and… a red lipstick.
An elegant bag
Elegant, but not necessarily black. It could be nude, oxblood, white or black. It could be a shoulder bag or a clutch. Find which one is best for you and makes you look refined. Medium shoulder bags suit almost every girl but if you have a preference for a cabas then why not?
A timeless watch
I will never say it enough, but an elegant watch is worth the investment. It is as much an accessory as it is a timepiece. Just think of it as your future family heirloom.
